Time to dig and get it done now and its the name of life

Time to dig and get it done now….its the name of life

Step No1: Write Down What You’ve already Achieved
Even if it feels as though you’ve poured hours of your life into this and gained nothing at all, you have achieved something. That might be:
You’ve made some progress towards your goal (even though that progress wasn’t as much as you hoped).
You’ve learned new skills, or developed existing skills further.
You’ve made new contacts, or developed existing relationships with people who might be able to help you with other projects in the future.
You’ve figured out some things that don’t work – which means you’ve got a better shot of figuring out what does work.
It’s important to write down your achievements, rather than just thinking through them. Not only does this give you a record to come back to in the future, it also aids the thinking process – you’ll find more ideas coming to you as you write.

Step No2: Read About Other People’s Experiences
When we look at other people, especially personal heroes, we often think that they had a smooth path to success. Inevitably, they didn’t. Every entrepreneur has had failures; every writer has received rejection letters. Every person who’s successfully lost weight or got fit didn’t get there overnight.

You might want to read biographies of people who share some of your dreams and goals. You could also listen to interviews with these individuals, or look on their websites or blogs for their story of how they got to where they are today.

The path to success is never smooth, straight, and easy. It’s normal to struggle and to work hard without any rewards in sight … and when you find out more about the lives of your heroes, you’ll realize that they went through just the same things as you.

Step No3: Focus on the Process, Not the Results
If you’re spending hours of your life working towards a goal, you want to enjoy the process as much as possible. Sure, some goals have more excitement along the way than others – writing a novel is probably a lot more fun than paying off your debt – but you can always find something to enjoy in the process.

And enjoying the process generally won’t slow you down … it can actually make you move more quickly and easily towards your goal.

Let’s say you’re trying to lose weight and shape up. If you struggle away each week, trying and failing to stick to a monotonous diet, and putting on a pound as often as you lose one, it’s no surprise that you’ll quickly give up. But if you decide to focus on finding healthy meals and snacks that you genuinely enjoy, and exercise that’s fun rather than a chore, you’ll be much more likely to succeed (and you’ll enjoy the process).

Step No4: Look for Ways to Work Smart, Not Hard
Of course hard work is important … but it’s not always a sign that you’re doing the right thing. You might be working long days as a freelancer, for instance, when you’d be better off raising your rates by 50% and working a bit less. You could be struggling to get chores done around the house, when you’d be better off paying someone to do the cleaning while you get on with building your small business.

Don’t make the mistake of thinking that long hours, or boring work, are an inevitable part of success. If you can find ways to work smart instead of just hard – perhaps by delegating or automating routine tasks, or by focusing on the 20% of your efforts that are bringing 80% of your results – then you’ll find that your hard work begins to pay off sooner.

44 ACTIONS THAT CAUSE THE DEPRIVATION OF BLESSINGS

44 ACTIONS THAT CAUSE THE DEPRIVATION OF BLESSINGS

1. Eating without washing hands.

2. Eating without covering the head.

3. Eating in the dark.

4. Eating and drinking at the doorstep.

5. Eating near the deceased.

6. Eating before one has done Ghusl [Major Purification Bath] (after a +++ual intercourse or nocturnal emission (release of semen)).

7. Delaying eating after the food is dished out [and served.]

8. Eating on a bed without placing a dining-mat.

9. Eating on a bed in such a manner that you sit on the side of the pillow and the food is placed where your feet would be, when you sleep on this bed.

10. Bitting the bread off with the teeth instead of breaking it with the hands (those who eat burgers should also keep this in mind).

11. Using broken ceramic or clay containers. (It is Makruh [reprehensible] to drink from the side of a cup that is broken. Do not use containers that are cracked as those cracks may house many germs and bacteria that could be very harmful for ones health).

12. Not cleaning used dishes.

13. Washing hands in the container that was used for eating.

14. Swallowing the particles of food, that were stuck in the teeth and have been removed by flossing or toothpick etc.

15. Leaving food containers or jugs uncovered. One should recite Bismillah and cover these containers because if left uncovered, misfortune descends into this food and drink which causes illness.

16. Placing food in places where it would be considered disrespectful and can easily be trampled upon, like throwing on the streets. (Sunni Bahishti Zaiwar, pp. 595-601)

The following are the actions that Sahykh Sayyiduna Burhanud-Din Zarnuji rehmatullah alaih has identified:

17. Sleeping in excess. (This can also cause ignorance)

18. Sleeping naked.

19. Urinating without any shame. (Those who urinate in public should pay heed.)

20. Being lazy in picking up fallen crumbs of food from a dining-mat.

21. Burning the peels of onion and garlic.

22. Sweeping the house with clothes.

23. Sweeping at night.

24. Leaving trash [garbage] inside the house.

25. Walking ahead of the Mashaykh [Scholars and Saints.]

26. Calling parents by their first names.

27. Washing hands with mud and sand.

28. To lean on a door on one side.

29. Making Wudu [Ablution] in the lavatory.

30. Sowing clothes while wearing them.

31. Wiping ones face with the clothes one is wearing.

32. Leaving spider web formations inside the house.

33. Being lazy in performing Salah.

34. Hastily leaving the Masjid after performing congregational Fajr Salah.

35. Going to the market, very early in the morning.

36. Coming back from the marketplace late.

37. Cursing children. (Women have often been observed cursing their children. Then they go on to complain of the lack of resources or of blessings [barakah] in their sustenance!)

38. Commiting sins, specifically lies.

39. Putting out a lamp (candle or lantern) by blowing at the flame.

40. Using a broken comb.

41. Not making Dua [Supplication] for the well being of parents.

To My Friends Who are

To My Friends Who Are...MARRIED

Love is not about "it's your fault", but "I'm sorry", not "where are you' but "I'm right here", not "how could you" but "I understand", not "I wish you were", but "I'm thankful you are."

To My Friends Who Are...
ENGAGED

The true measure of compatibility is not the years spent together but how good you are for each other.

To My Friends Who Are...NOT SO SINGLE

Love isn't about becoming somebody else's "perfect person." It's about finding someone who helps you become the best person you can be.

To My Friends Who Are...HEARTBROKEN

Heartbreaks last as long as you want and cut deep as you allow them to go. The challenge is not how to survive heartbreaks but to learn from them.

To My Friends Who Are...NAIVE

How to be in love: Fall but don't stumble, be consistent but not too persistent, share and never be unfair, understand and try not to demand, and get hurt but never keep the pain.

To My Friends Who Are...SEARCHING

True love cannot be found where it does not truly exist, nor can it be hidden where it truly does. Love is magic. The more we hide it, the more it shows; the more you suppress it, the more it grows.

To My Friends Who Are...PLAYBOY/GIRL TYPE

Never say I love if you don't care. Never talk about feelings if they aren't there. Never touch a life if you mean to break a heart. Never look in the eye when what you do is lie. The cruelest thing a guy can do to a girl is to let her fall in love when he doesn't intend to catch her fall.

To My Friends Who Are...POSSESSIVE

It breaks your heart to see the one you love happy with someone else but it's more painful to know that the one you love is unhappy with you.

To My Friends Who Are...AFRAID TO CONFESS

Love hurts when you break up with someone. It hurts even more when someone breaks up with you. But love hurts the most when the person you love has no idea how you feel.

To My Friends Who Are...STILL HOLDING ON

A sad thing about life is that when you meet someone who means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it was never bound to be and we just have to let go.

To My Friends Who Are...SINGLE

Love is like a butterfly. The more you chase it, the more it eludes you. But if you just let it fly, it would come to you when you least expect it. Love can make you happy but often times it hurts, but love's only special when you give it to someone who is worth it. So take your time and choose the best!

Ten Blessed Days

Ten Blessed Days :
Don't Miss

By His Wisdom,
God Gave Preference To Some Places And Times Over Others.

For Muslims,
Friday is The Best Day Of The Week,

Ramadan is The Best Month Of The Year,

Laylat-Al-Qadr  is The Best Night in Ramadan,

The Day Of “Arafah” is The Best Day Of The Year.

Likewise The First Ten Days Of The Month Of “Dhul-Hijjah” Are The Blessed Days For Muslims.

Allah Says in The Quran what means :
{By The Daybreak, By The Ten Nights, By The Even And The Odd, By The Passing Night – is This Oath Strong Enough For A Rational Person? }
(Al-Fajr 89:1-5)

Early Muslim Scholars Differed On What is Meant By The “Ten Nights”.
But Most Of Them Agreed That The Ten Nights Refer To The First Ten Days Of Dhul-Hijjah.

In Another Verse Allah  Says:
{ To Attain Benefits And Mention God’s Name, On Specified Days.}
(Al-Hajj 22:28)

Most Of The Quran Commentators View That The Specific Days Are The Ten Days Of Dhul-Hijjah.

What A Great Virtue Attached To Those Days Which Pass Unnoticed By Many People Nowadays.

On The Merits Of The First Ten Days, Prophet Muhammad
(peace be upon him) is Reported To Have Said:
" There Are No Days in Which Righteous Deeds Are More Beloved To Allah Than These Ten Days."

The People Asked,
" Not Even Jihad For The Sake Of Allah ? "

He Said: " Not Even Jihad For The Sake Of Allah, Except in The Case Of A Man Who Went Out To Fight,
Giving Himself And His Wealth Up For The Cause, And Came Back With Nothing." (Al-Bukhari)

In What Follows Are Suggested ideas On How To Make The Best Use Of The First Ten Days Of Dhul-Hijjah:

Repent to Allah
*************************
Make A Sincere Repentance To Allah And Promise Him That You Will Not Do Bad Deeds Again.
This May Be Your Last Chance.
You Are Not Sure if You Will Live Till Next Year.

Pray at the Mosque
***********************

Try To Perform The Five Daily Prayers in The Mosque.
If You Have Time After Fajr Prayer,
Try To Sit in The Mosque,
Read A juz' (part) Of The Quran,
Make Duaa,
Or Recite Some Adhkar
(remembrance of Allah).
Then Offer Two Rakahs Before You Go Home.
If You Do So,
You Are Reviving A Tradition That Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) Used To Do,
A Tradition Which These Days Has Been Neglected By Many Muslims.

Observe  Fasting  in
the  First Nine  Days
************************************

Abu As`id Al-Khudri Said:
I Heard The Prophet Saying,
"Indeed, Anyone Who Fasts For One Day For Allah's Pleasure,
Allah Will Keep His Face Away From The (Hell) Fire For ( A Distance Covered by a journey of) Seventy Years."
(Muslim)

Do Not Observe Fasting On The Tenth Day Because it is An `Eid Day And it is Prohibited To Fast That Day.

Good Deeds Are Rewarded Abundantly in These First Ten Days;
And As Fasting is A Good Deed,
it is Recommended To Fast These Nine Days.

Do  not  Miss  Fasting
the  Day  of  Arafah
*********************************
On The Day Of Arafah,
Non-Pilgrims Are Highly Recommended To Maintain Fasting.
It is Reported That The Prophet Was Asked About Fasting On The Day Of Arafah,

Whereupon He Said :
" It Expiates The Sins Of The Preceding Year And The Coming Year."
(Muslim)

He Also Said :
" There is No Day in Which Allah Frees A Greater Number Of His Slaves From The Hellfire Than The Day Of Arafah."
(Muslim)

Make  a  Lot  of  Supplications (duaa)  on  the  Day  of  Arafah
***************************************

The Prophet Said :
" The Best Supplication is That Of The Day Of `Arafah,
And The Best Thing That I And Other Prophets Before Me Said , is :

La ilaha illa Allahu Wahdahu La Sharika Lah, Lahu Al-Mulku WA Lahu Al-Hamdu WA Huwa `Ala Kulli Shai'in Qadeer

(There is No God But Allah Alone. He Has No Partners. To Him Belong The Sovereignty And All Praise. He Has Power Over All Things.)
(Al-Tirmidhi)

Try  to  Do  Something
New  this  Year
*******************************

If You Used To Recite A Part Of The Quran Last Year,
Try To Finish Reading The Whole Quran
This Year.
Try To Pick Some Verses Everyday And Check The Books Of Tafsir
(exegesis of the Quran)
To Reflect On Their Meaning in Order To Derive Lessons From Them in Your Daily Life.

If You Do Not Read Arabic,
I Recommend Translation Of The Quran.

If You Are Well-Versed in The Quran Recitation,
Try To Teach A Group Of New Muslims
How To Read The Quran Correctly.

Maintain  your  Family  Relations
********************************

Visit Your Relatives Even For A Few Minutes.
If They Live Far Away,
Give Them A Call.
Do Not Forget Your Parents.
Be Kind To Them, Visit Them,
And Attend To Their Needs.
Some New Muslims Think That After Their Conversion,
They Should Cut Off Their Family Members.
God Orders Muslims To Be Kind To Their Parents Even if They Are Non-Muslims.
This Occasion Might Be A Good Opportunity To Talk About Islam To Your Non-Muslim Parents.

Give to CharitY
*************************

Make it A Daily Habit To Help The Needy.
Look For Humanitarian Organizations in Your Neighborhood And Help Them in Any Way You Can.

Don't Miss Offering At Least Two Rakahs of “Tahajjud” At Night

Offer Many Extra Prayers,
As Much As You Can.
God Promised A Great Reward For Offering Extra Acts Of Worship.
The Prophet Said :
"Allah Said, ' I Will Declare War Against Him Who Shows Hostility To A Pious Worshipper Of Mine.
And The Most Beloved Things With Which My Slave Comes Nearer To Me,
is What I Have Enjoined Upon Him;
And My Slave Keeps On Coming Closer To Me Through Performing Nawafil
(praying or doing extra deeds besides what is obligatory)
Till I Love Him,
So I Become His Sense Of Hearing With Which He Hears,
And His Sense Of Sight With Which He Sees,
And His Hand With Which He Grips,
And His Leg With Which He Walks;
And if He Asks Me,
I Will Give Him,
And if He Asks My Protection (refuge),
I Will Protect Him;
(i.e. give him My refuge)
And I Do Not Hesitate To Do Anything As I Hesitate To Take The Soul Of The Believer,
For He Hates Death,
And I Hate To Disappoint Him."
(Al-Bukhari)

Reciting  the  Takbir
********************************
It is An Act Of Sunnah To Say “ Takbir ” (Allah is the Greatest)
in The First Ten Days.

The “ Takbir ” Should Be Pronounced Everywhere;
in The Mosque,
At Home,
in The Streets, etc.
It is Reported That :
Ibn `Umar And Abu Hurairah
(may Allah be pleased with them)
Used To Go Out in The Marketplace During The First Ten Days Of Dhul-Hijjah,
Reciting Takbir,
And The People Would Recite Takbir When They Heard Them.”
(Al-Bukhari)

There Are Many Forms Of Takbir,
But The Most Common One is :
Allahu Akbaru,
Allahu Akbaru,
Allahu Akbaru,
la illaha illa Allah,
Allahu Akbaru,
Allahu Akbar,
Wa lillahi Al-Hamd.

In Another Version Of The Hadith Mentioned Above On The Merits Of The Ten Days,
There is This Addition: "… So increase Saying Tahlil (saying la-illah illa Allah),

Takbir (saying Allahu akbar),

And Tahmid (saying Al-hamdullilah)" (Ahmad) Therefore,
These kinds Of “dhikr”
Should Be Recited Day And Night.

The  Best  Good  Deed  in  These Days
is to Offer Hajj

Go To Hajj,
if You Are Physically And Financially Able To Perform it.
If Not, Try To Offer A Sacrifice if You Have The Means.
By Doing This You Are Commemorating The Story Of Sacrifice Of Both Prophet Ibrahim And His Son Ismail
(peace be upon them).
The Poor And The Needy Have A Share in The Sacrifice And Feeding Them is One Of Best Deeds That Can Be Done On The Day Of `Eid.
